The V-Plough scr aper is fitted on the retur n belt n ear the tail end and pulley, to clear material th at c ou ld fall fr om the top belt, thus pr eventing d a mage to both the belt and the tail pulley. The “V” shape ploughs the material off either side of the belt, and the swivel action of the f ixing brackets and arms allows the scr aper to SELF-ADJUST. A safety roller is built in to the scr aper to prevent the point of the scr aper from digging into the conveyor belt. Installation of this scraper is very simple, in that no bolt holes ar e requir ed .
